TakeO is a reminder tool, not a medical device, and it doesn’t give medical advice.
TakeO shows the text you type and reminds you at the times you choose. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition. It doesn’t check names, amounts, doses, timing or interactions, and doesn’t know whether what you entered is right for you.
Your choice, your responsibility. You can use TakeO for any routine, including medicines or other important or vital routines. If you do, you are responsible for using it safely, as described here. As far as the law allows, we aren’t responsible for the consequences of a missed, late or wrong reminder.
Follow your healthcare professional. Decide what to take, how much and when with your doctor, pharmacist or other qualified professional, and follow their instructions and the product’s label. Don’t start, stop or change a treatment because of TakeO.
Reminders can fail. A reminder can arrive late, silently, or not at all, for example because of your device’s settings, battery saving, Do Not Disturb, the device being off, an update, or because TakeO hasn’t been opened for several days (open it regularly to keep reminders planned). If missing a dose or a task could harm you or someone in your care, don’t rely on TakeO alone: use another safeguard as well.
“Done” is your own note. Marking an item as done in TakeO only records what you tapped. If you’re unsure whether you already took something, check with your healthcare professional or the product’s instructions rather than relying on TakeO.
In an emergency, call your local emergency number or contact a doctor right away.
By using TakeO, you accept this disclaimer, which is part of our Terms & Conditions.
